Stay at Home Government Instructions

EVERYONE
wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, each time using soap and water, or use hand sanitiser

Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (only if you cannot work from home)
If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
Wash your hands as soon as you get home
Do not meet others, even friends or family.
You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

if you live alone and you have symptoms of coronavirus illness (COVID-19), however mild, stay at home for 7 days from when your symptoms started.
if you live with others and you are the first in the household to have symptoms of coronavirus, then you must stay at home for 7 days, but all other household members who remain well must stay at home and not leave the house for 14 days.
if you have coronavirus symptoms:
- do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital
- you do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home
- testing for coronavirus is not needed if you’re staying at home
if you feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home, or your condition gets worse, or your symptoms do not get better after 7 days, then use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service. If you do not have internet access, call NHS 111. For a medical emergency dial 999

Cancellation of Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting scheduled for March 18th has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.

New Bus Services

We have been contacted by the managers of Kirkby Lonsdale Coaches, who run the existing 552 service to notify us that they are providing Sedgwick with extra services.

The new 552 will continue on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Times of the journey towards Kendal are unchanged, but the return trip will run 30 minutes later to allow extra shopping time in Kendal.

To avoid diluting the usage to Kendal, the NEW services on Tuesday and Thursday will be to different destinations.

On Tuesdays, there will be a new 550 service, to Morecambe Market via Carnforth. It will start at Levens and run via Sedgwick, Hincaster and Arnside.
On Thursdays, they will start a new 551service, to Kirkby Lonsdale Market, starting in Arnside and running via Milnthorpe, Levens and Sedgwick. The Kendal service 552, will be extended to also serve Morrisons and Sainsbury’s.
